Children’s Stories
Julie Jellybean is a series of stories I told my children as they were growing up. Julie and her little sister, Delilah spend long summers with their grandmother in northern Michigan. The girls meet new friends and discover a world of wonder, starting amidst the wildflowers blanketing Grandma Jellybean’s backyard.
These stories are works in progress. Only the Rainbow Butterfly story has been written out. Although these stories are known to my children, they’re more of an oral history in my family. The titles below aren’t final – just outlines to remind me the content of the stories. I have yet to flush these out, but look forward to creating these stories and hope to entice my artistic brother to illustrate them.
These stories are meant for children of all ages – anyone with a love of nature and a sense of adventure….
